CAST’s Visit to Coway

On 11 January, 2018, Mr. Zeng Xuedong, Deputy Director of Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred as CAST), with his colleagues, paid their visit to Coway International Tech-Trans Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred as Coway). He had an in-depth discussion with Dr. Liu Zhengping, Executive Vice President of Coway regarding services of Coway and cooperation opportunities between two sides.

At the meeting, Dr. Liu made an introduction to the tech-transfer system of Tsinghua University, an overview of Coway and its technology-focusing areas as well as business model. Moreover, Dr. Liu also has shared Coway’s successful cases. Mr. Zeng expressed that it has a great significance to learn from Coway in terms of technology transfer and commercialization for the development of CAST. At the same time, Mr. Zeng has expressed his sincere welcome to Coway’s outstanding projects to Chongqing in way of tech-transfer, localization and incubation. This meeting leads to fruitful results for each side. 

CAST was established in 2008. It is a public institution approved by the People’s Government of Chongqing Municipality. CAST is an industrial & technical all-around institution to integrate researches & developments, technical transformations & transfers, personnel training and international exchanges. It is the largest service institution in the western China that is committed to scientific research and technical innovation constituted by Chongqing Municipality.
